Leading the Global Payments Integrated organization, Bob possesses more than 20 years’ experience in the POS, eCommerce and payment technology sectors. He is active in the Electronic Transaction Association, the PCI Security Standards Council and several industry advisory boards. With Global Payments Integrated forerunner, Accelerated Payment Technologies, he was instrumental in growing the organization from a small point-of-sale software provider to a leading technology ISO. Bob’s background includes sales, networking, security and software development.
James Grover is responsible for all aspects of Global Payments Integrated 's product development from ideation to delivery. He has more than 20 years' experience leading high-performing product and engineering teams, primarily for Fortune 500 companies. James comes from a strong systems and engineering background, having served in multiple software architect and systems engineering roles earlier in his career. As an Agile coach and Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, James is passionate about focusing on the "voice of the customer" and ensuring that our solutions not only solve our customers' problems correctly, but that they are also solving the correct problems. James earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration (with an emphasis on business strategy) from the University of Utah. He also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University.
L. Bill Banton, Vice President, Human Resources
L. Bill Banton is responsible for fulfilling Global Payments Integrated’s human resources strategy to create an exceptional employment experience. This includes talent management, compensation, performance management, team member and leadership development, organizational effectiveness, change management, diversity and inclusion. Previously, he served in executive human resources roles with L3 technologies, Inc., Ametek, Inc., Mylan, Inc., Campbell Soup Company, and more. Bill holds a Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Brigham Young University. He is an active member of the Oregon State Bar and the District of Columbia Bar.
As Vice President of Client Services, Michael oversees and runs all of the Global Payments Integrated Call Centers. Michael brings 20 years of experience in the Payments/Fintech space to his current role. Prior to his time as Global Payments, Michael was instrumental in building both the Sales and Operations divisions of Cayan, LLC. Michael serves on the Board of Directors for the Better Business Bureau.
Heidi VandenBerg joined Global Payments Integrated as a result of the TSYS acquisition in September 2019. Heidi serves as the Vice President of Marketing where she leads all efforts in branding, communications, advertising, marketing automation, direct mail, and thought leadership. She brings an extensive knowledge of the payments space with 21 years of experience in the industry.
Chris Ancona joined Global Payments Integrated as Vice President of Finance in 2019. Chris is responsible for managing the financial strategy and overseeing all financial functions for the OpenEdge organization. Before joining Global Payments Integrated Chris was Vice President of Finance for the TSYS Integrated Division. Chris has over 20 years of progressive finance experience supporting large complex Fortune 500 organizations. Chris holds an MBA and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Ian joined Global Payments Integrated as part of the TSYS merger in 2019. At TSYS he managed the merchant acquiring legal team and was responsible for all legal matters in the merchant segment. He and his team now provide legal support to the Global Payments Integrated business team. He has over 20 years of experience as in-house counsel, with over 10 years’ experience in the financial services industry, specializing in payment facilitation and integrated partner relationships. Ian earned his JD from Brigham Young University.
As the Senior VP of Sales at Global Payments Integrated, Matt Hyde leads the new partner acquisition, developer services, strategic partner management and merchant sales teams. Previously, Matt has been trusted to oversee merchant sales at APT and marketing, account management and business development at NMI. Having varied experience in both integrated payments solutions and payment gateway technology has given Matt a broad understanding of the payments landscape. Matt is excited to leverage that experience along with his track record of building and leading highly productive and competent sales teams to delight Global Payments Integrated's customers.
Matt Tracy is an executive with 23 years of experience in helping global organizations build pragmatic and sustainable enterprise-wide programs, he is responsible for strategy, project delivery, client success, training and business reporting. Prior to joining Global Payments Integrated, Matt was responsible for providing overall strategic direction and oversight for enterprise risk management at Global Payments. Prior to that, Matt built best-in-class risk management, internal audit and compliance functions at Teradata, Fiserv and CheckFree. In addition, Matt spent 9 years as a risk management and process consultant at Deloitte. Matt earned a Masters Degree in Accounting from Georgia State and a Bachelors of Industrial Engineering from Ga Tech. He is a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). Matt is co-chair of the Risk Committee for Camp Twin Lakes.
